Raising money for SOS Children in the workplace is fun, rewarding and a good team-building activity. Our Corporate Liaison Coordinator can provide ideas and support which suit companies and businesses of any size and type.

Corporate initiatives

• provide payroll giving
• match-fund employee contributions
• donate a percentage of profits or commission
• provide a cause-related marketing opportunity
• sell a specific or bespoke product on behalf of SOS Children
• donate your employees' expertise and time
• donate £1 for every employee completing a staff survey
• round-up or add an optional donation to invoices or charges etc and donate the extra
• donate through share-giving
• show support in an email footer or link to SOS Children’s website
• sign-up to our monthly SOS eNews and post this on your intranet
• send our seasonal e-cards to clients and partners
  
• have a collection box on your reception desk, canteen or office
  

Employee event ideas - see tips on organising an event

• hold a breakfast, coffee morning, cake bake, wine tasting, quiz or other event and charge a donation to take part 
• run a sweepstake or raffle
• have a dress down day for everyone who makes a donation
  
• hold an auction of promises, experiences or prizes
• run a 50-50 club - like a lottery with the monthly takings split between winning employee and charity
• arrange a sporting event e.g. football, rounders or golf tournament
• arrange a 'donate an hour’s pay' day
• sell old equipment or furniture and donate the proceeds
• donate the proceeds from a book club
  
• undertake a sponsored challenge (10k run / marathon / triathlon / skydive!) Team SOS will support you
